Matthew D. Sedgley, MD

Dr. Sedgley is a primary care physician, fellowship trained in sports medicine. His special interests include musculoskeletal injuries, evaluation of non-surgical orthopedic problems, and concussion. He is a team physician for the University of Maryland at Baltimore County and Stevenson University. Dr. Sedgley's special interests include working with runners, triathletes and bicyclists; he has worked as the primary care sports medicine medical director of several marathons and ultra marathons. He is trained in sports medicine ultrasound. Non-operative care for orthopedic concerns and acute sports injuries are his focus.

Dr. Sedgley was named a 2017 “Top Doc” by Baltimore Magazine for Orthopedic Sports Medicine.
